Curriculum Vitae

I am a Display EE Architect at Apple. I mainly work in the iconic Ring building.

Job description: research & development of display architecture across panel, module, silicon, and compensation algorithms for next generation game-changing Apple products.

Team’s past projects: iPhone 15 Pro (iPhone with thinest bezzel), iPhone 14 Pro (first iPhone with Always-on display), iPhone 13 Pro (first ProMotion iPhone), Apple Watch series 1, iPhone X (first OLED iPhone), iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 5. We continue to incubate new product ideas to bring surprise and the best user experience to our customers.

I got my Ph.D. and M.S. degree at MIT EECS under the supervision of Professor Anantha Chandrakasan and Professor Hae-Seung Lee. Professor Song Han was one of my thesis committee member. I worked in machine learning attacks for hardware security and machine learning accelerators with a proven record of leading publications such as VLSI-C 2022 and MobiCOM 2020.

Before joining MIT, I received a bachelor’s degree in EECS from Peking University in 2019 with National Scholarship (1%).
